Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The ability to upgrade items allows players to improve their weapons and gear with new affixes, increasing its base stats or adding additional perks. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be used to upgrade trinkets, weapons, armor and gathering tools, providing an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is used.
